Tanorexic, a definition:
A person addicted to tanning; the disorder in which people may feel that they NEED to be tanned.
Much like anorexia (the root word) tanorexic people are both mentally and physically addicted to tanning.
Physical addiction: UVA rays can give the feeling of euphoria or a natural "high" similar to the euphoric feeling experienced after exercising.
As a tribute to those suffering from this terrible affliction, i have put together a collection of the worst tanning monstrositys known to man........brace yourself.....ill start you off gently.....

Explain this tanning thing to me......is this a bid to be more black....or an obvious case of people not being happy about who they are?
Neither, its just a vanity thing that can become addictive. The UV rays release endorphins in the brain that give a feeling of upliftment........
I can only confirm this because i do like a tan myself, but im not on the path to being a tanorexic though!
OMG, these people look so fake. They look robottie, is that a word. It is now. I tanned like 10 times to get it started and then went to the lake and got a nice brown on but that is it. It is not good for you to do this. Yuck! what were they thinking. They can't think they look good, do they?

These people look so stupid! They should just be ushered out of the salon or off of the beach when they are seen there. Gives sensible sun worshippers a bad name.
These are very extreme cases... most people do not go to this extreme. And if the equipment is used properly this will never happen.
